Correa will be fine. His swing looks better. Just needs to work on his timing and pitch selection a bit more. ...., if he is healthy. His swing looking Fuller makes me think he is feeling better.

Reddick getting hot would be great. 3 for 3 today. He is just above the Mendoza line at .212 since the all-star break. You would think the law of averages would be due to catch up with him.

Buck Showwalter has had a nightmare season. He’s probably counting the innings till his managerial career at Baltimore is over.

Buck Showwalter has had a nightmare season. He’s probably counting the innings till his managerial career at Baltimore is over. He is a good manager, but he will always be remembered for leaving Britton in the bullpen while the Blue Jays rallied to win the WC game. I’m still scratching my head over that one.

JV is a Cy Young winner to me. Incredible season. For sure. Should have over 20 wins this year.

Snell may get the award but JV had a great season. The Rays just keep churning out good young pitchers.

And just like that Verlander gets a no-decision. Way to go Joe.

If Verlander had a shot at the Cy Young.... Joe Smith just killed it. Verlander needed that 17th win

Dodgers and Giants tied at 5 in the 7th. I can’t decide which team I would rather see eliminated...LAD or StL.

Harris has a lower ERA vs. Joe Smith.

Ever since 2015 the word playoffs combined with the name Harris have brought on a rush of anxiety in me.

Announcers are correct. Getting the pitching staff down will be tough. Who do you leave off?
McCullers is in and I would think Peacock as well. Devinski and Smith are tough as both have shown brilliance but have struggled for at least half of the season.
Harris, I believe, should not be on the roster. He will fold under pressure like he always does.

when i get home we are ahead 3-0. So I unpack instead of watching the game and now it is tied. What a shame about Verlander not getting the Win. how many times did this happen this year.

I wouldn’t have Stassi on the roster. Harris may make it.

Hinch should tell his relievers. "Whoever gives up a run this game will not see the playoffs"
Smith- "But coach, do I count since you said this AFTER I gave up runs"
Hinch- looks at his clipboard and walks away.

Sadly, his bat is going to be a black hole in the lineup in the playoffs, but out of consideration for his past performances the clipboard won’t have him batting lower than 6 in the order...more likely at 4 or 5. His health has most llikely been the issue this year, but I see good things for him in the playoffs. He will win a game for us at one point with a go-ahead run Like I said....

Like I said.... And I said he shouldn’t start a game in the playoffs.😂😂😂 Looks like ol Take Two is feeling better today. I think if I was AJ I would sit him in the second game and tomorrow. Don’t want to have him re-injure himself in a meaningless game before the ALDS.
