Indians have said Bauer may start Game 4 if he isn't used too much out of the bullpen in games 1 to 3.
Tonight the Astros put a little wear on him so perhaps they wouldn't have to see much of crybaby in a Game 4.
If they keep hitting like they did tonight, there may not even be a Game 4.

Big win and good game all the way around....Verlander was dominant before tiring. Bullpen was fantastic.FOUR big home runs...including one from Maldonado who at least one factual person thought should not be on the roster. Good offense and good pitching. The Astros look like a team that wants to repeat......Now, let's go get game 2.

The decision to carry Straw instead of Stassi already paying off. I don’t think Max would have scored there😐 Well, to be fair I think Marisnick would have been the pinch runner there (but I agree with you) Nice to have another option available to do the pinch running at any point in the game so that Jake is still available as a defensive replacement late in the game. |
