Looks like Colin is going to the slider more than the 12-6 so far this season. I noticed that also. Goes to show velocity isn't everything.

Brantley doesn't seem like a guy that would be able to go Ofer forever. Brantley sure can work a pitcher and spoil pitches. He saw everything he had.

Bregs is a fantastic third baseman for a high school and college SS.

Bregs is a fantastic third baseman for a high school and college SS. When the Stros drafted Bregs, it was a head scratcher, where were they going to play him. If you remember they were even thinking the OF.

The boys in the booth talking about the Red Sox start to the season, a far cry from last year.

Did TK say Osuna tied Fred "Flintstone" for starting a career with the Stros in saves. That would be a record held for awhile.

What a waste of time to read the game thread and see that 90% of the posts are an old blowhard making e-4 word comments that say nothing.

In the Red Sox-A's series, Lauriano showed what a cannon arm he has. Must have been the Stros best kept secret. When I see what Laureano can do, it makes me wonder why the team is so in love with Jake.

McHugh has pitched so well to start the season, and so far Correa is the MVP of the offense. Well done by both.

Also has a better stick than Jake, we should get a scouting report from PaPa on this dude.

Then that offseason Laureano was one of our prospects who was going to be eligible for the Rule 5 draft in December if he wasn’t put on the 40-man roster. It was basically a numbers thing. Luhnow couldn’t protect every prospect and Laureano was one of the guys he didn’t think was worthy of a spot on the 40-man roster over some of the other prospects. Luhnow also knew that if Laureano was not protected, some team would draft him in the Rule 5 and we would lose him. So he got what he could for him. Traded him to the A’s for Brandon Bailey.

Thanks for the update. The boys in the booth did mention during yesterdays game, it came down to the numbers in the wings. As with anything you never know how a prospect is going to respond. With Ramon going to the A's and getting a chance to play, it wouldn't be the same pressure if he was thrown into the Stros lineup. He grabbed and made the most of his chance, good for him.
