Gearrin and Swarzak look like the only semi-formidable relievers in that Seattle bullpen.
If Yuli and the other guys can stay patient vs LeBlanc, they can force that weak bullpen to throw 4 to 5 innings this game.
In a way, it's good if this game stays close till the final innings because it will force Seattle to commit their better relievers early in the 3-game series. Wear 'em down for games 2 and 3.

Sometimes, Yuli is Gattis-like with his long swings that do very little.

I always thought it's an automatic strike if the batter is not in the box and it's a legal pitch.

Alright, no 2-out shit this time. I can’t believe Santana has 21 RBI.

That shit should have been an automatic strike. there was a gentleman who popped up on this forum who had a lot of experience coaching high school baseball. would love to know his understanding of that scenario.

Alright, no 2-out shit this time. I can’t believe Santana has 21 RBI. It's extremely hard to complain with the success we've had. I mean we did win a World Series. Yet, we have lost some players in trades who have turned out to be good or great mlb players, i.e. JD Martinez, Hader, Santana...

Did he also love Marisnick? nah, he liked bunting though. Bunting is the talent of the gods. It made Mickey Mantle that much scarier.

You think about those lean years of 100 loss seasons, but give the organization credit to good scouting to have that kind of surplus and through trades to acquire them.

just when the worst thing Springer could do was swing at the first pitch.... he swings at the first pitch.
Astros just needed to push that pitch count over 80 to help ensure LeBlanc only makes it through 5.

Let’s rescind the “Great White Shark” moniker until he does something meaningful in a game.
