I like that Osuna isn't one of those show offy c*nts when he finishes a game. I still have mixed feelings about him but you can't argue with results. Offy? |

Even with 8 in a row, Hinch would need to take a bullet for Trump to get the team more national exposure. Just think of it this way the Red Sox are playing in La La Land, caught a couple innings of their game today and the TV crew is talking about the Rays. |

Sad news to here, I saw a warning for bad weather in that part of Texas. I checked on my relatives said they were ok. I knew the children. I also know the people in Alto that had their homes destroyed. Kinda worried about ol papa. He has not answered my calls or texts. OlPapa is alive and well. I was not at home when the storm hit. I was in Lufkin at my granddaughter’s gymnastics meet. Wind was really bad there. I was worried about all the kids inside that gym should a tornado hit. Cell phone died while I was there. I was concerned about what our place would look like when we got home. Internet was down when I got home and didn’t come back up until this morning so I couldn’t get on the board last night. Actually looks like the weather was worse in Lufkin than it was out here at our place even though it is not far at all as the crow flies from our place to the area where the two boys were killed when the tree fell on their parents’ car. I think the older boy may have been a classmate of my youngest grandson last year at Central. My God. I can’t imagine. How do the boys parents ever recover. Just heart breaking. |

I think the consensus was that people here didn’t like Osuna personally but rooted for his success. After all, his success is likely the team’s success. As for Jake, the least he could do is learn how to square up a bunt. |

As for Jake, the least he could do is learn how to square up a bunt. I agree that he needs to learn to bunt and is working on his hitting which has has improved. I still say he is more valuable to us than duds like Stassi and White. Kemp is a mediocre outfielder and I'd take Jake over him all day long. |

I still say he is more valuable to us than duds like Stassi and White. Kemp is a mediocre outfielder and I'd take Jake over him all day long. Hittingwise, Kemp has a better approach and is a better bet at RBI situations. Jake strikes out too much. Since he has power, it’s alright, but it’d be more tolerable if he’d hit 30 bombs. You can argue that if he got the playing time, it could happen. Then again, you know why he doesn’t, and that’s because he doesn’t hit consistently well enough. The proof is in the pudding. |

Jake should be used just how Glen Barker was as an eighth or ninth inning defensive replacement. He has proved time after time with RISP is an unproductive out. Nuff said.
