Nice of Blum to make an excuse for Correa booting a one-hopper that hit his glove. it did not "eat nim up" it was a rpoutine play that is made by most Little Leaguers LMFAO bad hop Bozo. You are a f'ing idiot if you saw the play and thought he should not have handled it...............punkass........the only all-stars you ever worked with were on a funny farm

They did such a nice job with RISP hitting the first game just to go back to homer or nothing ball the next game. Enough with the launch angle stuff. Just hit the ball hard.

20 pitches: No outs. Cole got screwed on that call. if they ever needed more reasons to have electronic strike calling...

Also, people will start throwing more stuff outside to Altuve if he doesn’t adjust and start hitting liners the other way.

Altuve is crafty enough to make adjustments, I think.
Tyler White is another story. He's made adjustments, but the wrong ones.
Nice to see Stassi have a good game. HR and throwing runners out at 2B, what more could you want from a catcher.
Stassi has the raw power to do the job, but he could use better contact skills. I'm not sure he is the catcher you want starting games in the postseason (same with Chirinos), but for the regular season he is fine.
I still see a deal with SF at the trade deadline. Maybe MadBum, maybe Posey, maybe Will Smith... the fit between the Astros and SF is just too obvious for something not to get done.
JV - MadBum - Cole - McHugh as postseason starters would give most opposing managers nightmares. They might consider it a success just to avoid getting swept.

Stassi and Marisnick shouldn’t bat in the same order. As far as Bumgarner, hell yes. He and Verlander can teach Cole how to power through bad innings. Sometimes, Cole gets a little frustrated out there and loses focus.

MadBum would be so cool to play at an NL park in the WS... the dude's OPS is north of .820 this year. To say nothing of his pitching.

Right now the Giants are getting about 75 OPS+ collectively from their OF of Pillar - Duggar - Parra.
If they picked up Straw and Fisher to replace Parra and Pillar, they'd have a nice, affordable, fast, young OF they could use for years to come. (Duggar is 25 years old, .250 hitter with a high K rate. Not sure what SFG sees in him, but why not see if he pans out.)
