This untalented fool has actually managed to play fairly competently lately, and I hereby acknowledge it publicly. I hope, as much as anyone, that it's not just an anomaly and that he doesn't turn into the Corch of MLB players like he usually does.

If (when) he falls off the cliff and returns to suckdom, it will be a huge test of Corch's integrity to see if he acknowledges it.

I will acknowledge it as long as you state there is more to being a good player than hitting. He will have slumps and down periods but our superstars have them, too......example; Altuve. |

What Corch says in the 1st sentence is very true, especially if one is an AL starting pitcher. |

I guess it depends on how people are doing health-wise and such later, but I feel like Marisnick's production ( normal production, I should say) could easily be replaced by much cheaper younger in-house options. The same way we basically did with Marwin. I know Diaz wasn't a prospect, but we only traded a prospect to get him and he's under relatively cheap club-control. |

There's a lot of fans who want to though. Even though he's like Marwin talent-wise, he's not boring to watch on the diamond or at the plate I guess it depends on how people are doing health-wise and such later, but I feel like Marisnick's production ( normal production, I should say) could easily be replaced by much cheaper younger in-house options. |

No. Whrn I coaced, I was always partial to good defensive players with speed. I tried to build my teams on pitching, defense, and speed. We could scrape up enough runs to win if we had that. |

Jake is a fine 4th OFer. Nothing more. His offense has steadily dropped, as expected.
I really hope Tucker brings his hot bat with him in a couple weeks.
