well, that was a loss, but not an embarrassing one.
Astros had several well-hit line drives that just happened to be hit right at outfielders. one or two of those drop, and the Astros may well have won.
anyway, the White Sox are ripe for picking.

Astros last hit was Reddick’s double in the fourth inning.
Astros gave them that game.

It is nice to have an 8 man bullpen but we need another position player. Yuli has no business at second base and White has no business being in the lineup. Send Valdez down and bring up somebody. If Diaz and George can't go tomorrow we have ONE position player on the bench that is Stassi. We don't need 8 relievers.
Staying with Valdez cost us today. He should not have been allowed to pitch to those good right-handed hitters.

Two straight games of Joke standing at the plate, looking like an idiot. He's reverting to the mean and needs to immediately be removed from consideration as a starter.

Yuli is not a second baseman. Where did Hinch get this idea that the man is defensively talented enough to play there?

Wbite and Yuli killed us defensively. They announced that George wont play tomorrow......they have to drop a reliever and bring up a position player. I guess you had rather have Kemp in CF.........scary thought.

Better hope Springer isn't too bad and/or we get Altuve back healthy and productive soon.
Too many injuries at one time will kill momentum.

Jake lost the game by hitting into a double play with bases loaded.

Jake lost the game by hitting into a double play with bases loaded. Marisnick should never start. He’s a defensive replacement/pinch runner at best. However, winning 2/3 is great considering no Altuve or Díaz.

I noticed Tyler White has issues trying to bend over with his oversized stomach😮 Like I said, if the man were crushing the ball and getting XBH’s like nobody’s business, then keep him playing at 1B/DH in place of Gurriel. The fact that the team basically endorses such terrible performance is astounding to me. If that Super Two mark arrives, and he’s still riding that bench, then something is fundamentally wrong with the management.

Jake lost the game by hitting into a double play with bases loaded. I mean he’s almost the last guy on the team you’d want to hit in that situation. Stassi and White are worse.

Jake lost the game by hitting into a double play with bases loaded. Jake isn't more responsible than the idiots on the right side of the infield who could not catch popups. Jake isn't the idiot who left Valdez in the game against the right-handed hitters who beat us. At least Hinch adnitted he made that mistake. J Jake shares the blame but he had lots of help.

Something is wrong with management or White and Stassi would be history by now and Devenski would be close to going with them.

However, winning 2/3 is great considering no Altuve or Díaz. He will probably start in most if not all of Verlander's starts and he should get most of Coles. Both are flyball pitchers. Kemp should never be in the outfield unless it's an emergency

Won 10 and lost 1. I'll take that ratio all season long. Jake had a bad day but he wasn't the only one. The only concern with him is that this is the pattern he starts to show when he plays consistently. He fades.
The only concern I have from this game is Springer. Let's hope this is nothing major.

I wouldn’t worry about the back spasms. They happen. He’ll be sore but then right back. Marisnick starts way too often.
