Alex Bregman needs to get some more base hits and lead the team with Springer and Altuve out of the lineup. Hitting .266 is unacceptable for our 3-hitter.

Alex Bregman needs to get some more base hits and lead the team with Springer and Altuve out of the lineup. Hitting .266 is unacceptable for our 3-hitter. Bregman seems to be concerned with pulling the ball and going for home runs.....his batting average is down because of it. This was another game when the offense took the night off. The pitcher dominated them. We need to hope Springer is baci for the Red Sox or we could get swept at home as bad as the offense has been since we got home. |

All in all, the real embarrassing game was Wednesday. Giolito has been kicking the league’s ass recently.

Springer and Altuve have had some big-time moments for us I want to win every game, but if the Astros are comfortably in first place in the AL West, and staying near the top in the AL, I am not for rushing back Altuve and Springer....there is a lot of season left. |

Something has got to be done about the production at 1B, though. |
