2017---He has a brain cramp in Atlanta and tries to score from third base in Atlanta when he had no chance to make it. We led 10-2 at the time and didn't need the run. Result was an injured wrist on the slide at the plate and a long trip to the DL. 2018--Develops mysterious "back issues" that didn't appear to be game-related. Is never healthy the rest of the season yet demands a raise in arbitration. At the time, he wanted $5 million and Astros offered $4million. I thought it was dumb of the Astros at the time to bicker over a million dollars after the way Correa peformed in the post-season in 2017.; 2019--gets "mental day off" on Monday and develops a "rib issue" overnight and can't play Tuesday. We are told he has a fractured rib due to a massage and will miss 4-6 weeks. This jackass is either a wimp or just plain stupid. I think he is also pouting over Bregman getting an extension he didn't get. Bregman hasn't had six week vacations every season. Instead of extending him, trade his ass for pitching and another bat. 2014 - Broken fibula. 2016 - Oblique strain. I had forgotten those. Maybe he'll get an STD while on vacation. |

Because the injury is non-baseball related, does Correa still get paid while on the IL? If he does that means he's getting paid third of his $5M salary this year, thus $1.66M, for injuries sustained from a kinky massage. |
