I am missing something here........some of you give predictions for 29 games and some for 27, talshill posted a 27 game schedule and then predicted a 17-12 record. talshill has repeatedly demonstrated an inability to perform simple math. talshill is generally half asleep when he does these predictions because talshill gets up way too early. talshill will fix his prediction. Others may do likewise. I'm getting concerned with the third person references. It reminds me of a boxer that has taken too many shots in the head. I didn't like it then because it was serious. But I'm hoping this is just kidding... But being the luddite that I am, I really don't know. |

I will say this: I cannot stand Jerry Jones and there are a lot of delusional Cowboys fans out there. I think Jerry is delusional too. My Dad knew the Landrys when Tom was playing football for UT, so when Dallas was awarded a franchise in '60 there was no question as to what team we would follow. At least you’re a nice cryboys fan. I find the fans who actually live in the Dallas area are nice people. It’s the ones who live in Houston that are super annoying. I respected Tom Landry. Jerry Jones, not so much. |

You're so cute when you're all riled up. I will say this: I cannot stand Jerry Jones and there are a lot of delusional Cowboys fans out there. I think Jerry is delusional too. My Dad knew the Landrys when Tom was playing football for UT, so when Dallas was awarded a franchise in '60 there was no question as to what team we would follow. At least you’re a nice cryboys fan. I find the fans who actually live in the Dallas area are nice people. It’s the ones who live in Houston that are super annoying. I respected Tom Landry. Jerry Jones, not so much. I was supportive of both Texas Pro Football Franchises until they fired Landry. But that changed things forever, at least for me. I felt the same way after the Oilers fired Bum. Things were never the same. I really didn't become interested in football again until the Texans run they made about 2012. But I haven't had any interest in Football on any level after the NFL permitted the players to insult our Country while on the job and in the stadium.
I stand ready to forgive them when they apologize, but I'm not holding my breath.
I'm quite happy to be a one sport fan of our Houston Astros and do not miss football at all (on any level).

I used to be a huge NFL fan. Now I kind of have a sour taste in my mouth about the whole thing. I'll bet I haven't sat down and watched an entire game in 2 years. I'll watch a college game if it's a good match-up (Alabama vs. ?). I do keep up with Texas HS football, all classifications. Some of the most entertaining games are on the the 1A-2A level. |

Well, we have a mutual dislike (and I have a grudging respect) for the Pittsburgh franchise. Dallas would have 7 trophies if it weren't for them (and possibly 6 if it weren't for Jackie Smith). |

Interesting story (some of you may not know this): George Preston Marshall, Redskins owner, didn't want Dallas to have a franchise. Repeated overtures by Clint Murchison, who was vying for a franchise in Dallas, fell on deaf ears. So, Murchison bought the rights to that stupid song they sing ("Hail to the Redskins") and told Marshall they would never be able to play it again until Dallas was awarded a franchise. Marshall caved in, and the Cowboys were born.
