Hinch has lost his touch. No way this team should be playing this bad a game of baseball. They all look like they have mailed it in.

Hinch is doing the best he can with what he has. It’s a long season. We’ll get back in stride when Springer and Correa get back.

Just think the Astros had a 6 or 7 game lead on NY and trail NY by two games.

NY lost several of their top guys and never went thru a losing streak like this. This team is really flawed with the likes of White, Jake, Yuli, I could name more but you get the idea. Bregman went into reverse when the Astros needed him to step up and lead. The only bright spot is Alvarez at this point. What was the use of Alutve coming back and still hasn't shown up this year?

This is not on Hinch. This team is majorly failing him. They cannot score outside of homers. They should be disappointed in themselves.

I will not watch the game while Guduan is pitching He actually did a good job. I had to take back what I said. You are a better person than me. I cannot and will not trust him

Typical of how our luck runs.........Yordan hits 3 run homer to give us the lead and normally reliable Pressly coughs it up.

No argument there, but you still provided no credible evidence that AJ is responsible for this tail spin. This isn't Little League where an adult coach can coax a performance out of a youngster. These are professional adult athletes who have to perform to their level of talent. AJ has no control of that. His expertise and responsibilities center around the strategic areas of this game's play. Though he has not been perfect, I will still venture that he is still in the top quintile of field managers in MLB. And delving upward from there (IMO), we have the best GM in baseball. I said a few days ago, that "NO" team escapes a slump/losing streak in a 162 game season. This is ours, and come October we will be fully prepared for the playoffs.

Yeah, I get when a couple guys are cold, but too often we have one random guy desperately trying to carry the team like Álvarez or even Jake. Like I’ve often said, these are the times when Bregman has to step up and he hasn’t for the most part.

To be fair to the offense, Pressly was hands down the worst player of the game. Gurriel has a close second for allowing four runs to score past his glove.

Legitimate injuries to Altuve., Springer., and Diaz plus the lying idiot, Correa, are responsible. I still don't believe one word out of Correa's mouth regarding how he fractured the rib. Hinch has made some bad moves but he is not to blame for the slide. Continuing to play White is the worst of his moves.

He should be at first base with Bregman back at third. As bad as it is, we should have either kept Mayfield at SS or played Straw there. Yuli doesn't have hte range to play over there. White being on the field is a joke.

They worked Reddick at first base in ST.........give that a try if they think Yuli needs to be at third base. Alvarez should be converted to first base and made the regular when he is ready.

As soon as he’s dealt with, they can move on to Yuli.

Instead of stepping up, he has mostly hit popups and drawn walks. Alvarez has been the lone bright spot in the past week.

You can only get so far without the stars stepping up, which now includes Pressly and Osuna.

Yes, every team will have a Slump/Losing Streak in Baseball. I was just getting riled up as the last time the Astros had a 7 Game 8 of 9 losing streaks was in 2015. Hinch's first year.

Once Springer and Diaz are back we will start kicking the crap out of everyone again. I can't wait to watch the Stros in the World Serious.
