My son joined the Marines at age 29.When he told me he was joining I told him that, if he could find them, he should get a copy of The Boys in Company C and Full Metal Jacket and watch them to prepare himself psychologically for the verbal abuse he was about to be subjected to. R. Lee Ermey was the real deal. |

I watched Apocalypse Now not too long ago, first time in 30 years. I'd forgotten how trippy and intense it was. Great, great movie.

I was a fan of the character he played on Night Court. Not so much of a fan of this stand up persona. It would be interesting to know which, if either, was more like him.

My favorite Christine was when she convinced herself to be Harry's assistant and got stuck in the magic saw-box with her head stickin out the whole episode
Then when she was finally freed she said, "I can't feel anything below the waist!" and Dan said, "Need some help?"
