Four in a row, three straight one-run victories.

Alex has had a really tough month at the plate. This is the first game of the month, sheesh. Didn't mean it that way just he has had tough time with men on base the month or so. He was fine if no one was in scoring position

Big game from Yuii.......clutch hits when needed........and the bullpen did the job over the last 4 innings.......James got a big strikeout and then sucked............overcame shoddy infield defense, especially fromn Altuve.

I can’t get enough of Altuve’s double. My boy looking like his batting champ self.

I'm glad I stuck with this game because when James gave up the lead I was thinking about turning it off because the defensive miscues were making me sick.

Who will admit to giving up on our boys before this game ended? I did.
Who is glad to see Yuli getting fired up? I am.
Who is proud of our boy Altuve (aka dumbass) for his 4 hit game? We all are.
As to when Carlos and Diaz come back, I think we'll unfortunately see one of these rookie pitchers go back down, along with Straw. Kemp and White will stay, unless by some miracle they can be traded. Luhnow won't risk another JDM.

Who will admit to giving up on our boys before this game ended? I did. Actually no, they looked good from the beginning.Who is glad to see Yuli getting fired up? I am. Me. He's almost league average now in his overall rate stats.Who is proud of our boy Altuve (aka dumbass) for his 4 hit game? We all are. That, and the stolen base. When he's stealing he's feeling good.As to when Carlos and Diaz come back, I think we'll unfortunately see one of these rookie pitchers go back down, along with Straw. Kemp and White will stay, unless by some miracle they can be traded. Luhnow won't risk another JDM. I think it's more about him not wanting to lose depth if he doesn't have to. Yet...

Who will admit to giving up on our boys before this game ended? I did. I did as well, looked like a Bad News Bear Team for a couple of innings.Who is glad to see Yuli getting fired up? I am. I am as well.Who is proud of our boy Altuve (aka dumbass) for his 4 hit game? We all are. Heck yes, can't stand when people bail so quickly on a proven player coming off injury or just a plain slump. As to when Carlos and Diaz come back, I think we'll unfortunately see one of these rookie pitchers go back down, along with Straw. Kemp and White will stay, unless by some miracle they can be traded. Luhnow won't risk another JDM. If White and Kemp are somehow on the team, along with Guduan on the 40 man roster, when Correa and Diaz return, I think somehow/some way we need to get some interviewer to ask Luhnow: WTF?

That double by Altuve reminded me of ‘14 Altuve. I missed him. I like when he sells out for contact and getting hits that only someone like he can. That to me is the most elite of his abilities.

Not only did Altuve and Gurriel look like their old selves but so did Pressly and Osuna. Harris earned that win. You can’t give him enough compliments for the work he does with runners on base this season.
Also, I liked how Bregman attacked a pitch in the strike zone and kept the rally going. Nice aggressive cut there with RISP. He hadn’t looked that great beforehand even with the sacrifice fly so that was nice to see.

Taking pitches to right field the last couple games and his stolen base last night show he is back, to me. If he is stealing bases, he is feeling good. That's how I knew he wasn't back earlier in the year. The HRs were nice, but that's not his style and it's not a sustainable skill set for him. Now we'll just have to see how high he can get before his end of the year cool-off. His last two months are almost always his worst over his career. I don't know if he can manage to get back to hitting .300 with as low a hole as he dug himself, but it would be nice to see (he's now up 33 points since coming back). If he can manage to get his OPS back up to .850, I'll be pretty damn pleased coming off the surgery and subsequent struggles.
