I don't think the Mets will deal us Thor unless Yordan is in the trade. Their front office is a bunch of nutcases Why’s their pitching so cursed? At one point, their rotation was: Harvey deGrom Syndergaard Matz Wheeler Also, add Lugo to the mix. The only one with consistent dominance is deGrom.

Why’s their pitching so cursed? At one point, their rotation was: Harvey deGrom Syndergaard Matz Wheeler Also, add Lugo to the mix. The only one with consistent dominance is deGrom.
Straw would absolutely be tossed in for Syndergaard without question. |

They're not giving up something for nothing. The only other prospect who's proven himself at this level is Straw. I think folks need to ask themselves if they're willing to part with Straw to get Syndergaard

Straw would absolutely be tossed in for Syndergaard without question. That's why I would rather have Bumgarner. It will not mortgage our future like others possibly can. |

In the playoffs he's a career 2-1 2.42 ERA, 36 Ks in 26 Innings, zero HRs given up.

I’m thinking the Mets novice GM is on the hot seat right now. If he trades Syndergaard, he is going to have to come out of the deal looking like the clear winner, otherwise he will get crucified.

I could see an American League team being hot for him though. We have to find a defensive position for him. That is the job of the coaches. If they can't at least make him a competent LF or 1B, we need to hire some that can. |
