I think he is busy as shit, but I don't think anything happens in the end. Luhnow knows this team can win it all now as is and he doesn't want to mess up the plans he has made for the next few years (whatever they are).

But we need to add a really good SP who's at least under team control for a couple years.... At the same time he's not costing 20+ something a year |

Don't get me wrong, I would like to make a splash and add a pitcher and maybe Mancini for the future. But we don't need to give up the farm. We're still arguably the best positioned team for the postseason. |

And not to mention adding another top pitcher in case our number one or number get injured (no jinx).... We really don't have anyone in the minors that could feel their void ....Whitley was supposed to be that person, not happening this year at least. |

If the Astros don't trade Tucker to get Thor, I too will be okay with it. But I think Thor will be the difference-maker not just for this year but in the coming years. Tucker this year or maybe next year will not have that type of impact that Thor would have on the team. if you're in your contention years/window I think that you want to put the best team out there possible. I would not be for giving up Tucker for Thor if it was just for a rental. |
