Hopefully Laureano remains on the IL until we leave town. Seems like he never tires of making big plays and getting big hits against the Astros. I can’t stand to think much about the fact that we sent him packing because he wasn’t considered worth adding to the 40-man roster in advance of the Rule 5 draft, but we kept AJ Reed and Guduan.

I have never seen any other fast guy hit into as many DPs as does Altuve.

I have never seen any other fast guy hit into as many DPs as does Altuve. He has no plate discipline.......when the leadoff man opens with a walk, Altuve should never swing at the first pitch. At times, I think he decides to swing at the first pitch before he steps into the box...he kills a lot of innings. |

I don't know what the Astros told Sanchez but whatever it was it seems to have worked. Nice three innings so far by him. Very low pitch count so far.
Astros bats better wake up soon to give him more confidence.
