We just got back from a cruise that had a stop in the DR, and we've been all over all of those islands.  I'm not a beach guy, mostly, but some of those places are beautiful.  And most of the people are super nice unlike Europeans.

My wife is a beach fanatic, that is where we differ. Put me in the woods with my Franchi auto and I am in heaven, that is as European as I get.
