I just woke up. How in the world did the Astros pull this one out? Springer hit a three run homer that traveled 483 feet and hit the facade of the third deck n left field.

I just woke up. How in the world did the Astros pull this one out? Springer hit a three run homer that traveled 483 feet and hit the facade of the third deck n left field. I'm amazed they held them to 4 runs. I went to bed after they walked 5 batters and Miley was at 50 pitches in the 2nd inning.

Then that is the longest HR since '15 implementioan of statcast for HR's. Maybe the farthest in Houston history. Anyone have any data of the Rader and Wynn dome homers that reached the 4th level back in the late '60's?

Maybe the farthest in Houston history. Anyone have any data of the Rader and Wynn dome homers that reached the 4th level back in the late '60's? I have to think the ones Radar and Wynn bit had to have gone tnat far or farther.

Yanks lost. Back to being tied for the AL lead (and after the day is done will still be only .5 away from the Dodgers) Let's not forget we won 4 of 7 against NYY during the regular season. Theoretically we have a one game lead, since we win that tiebreaker.
