90-50 On pace for 104 Wins 22 games remaining with 18 against losing teams.
Gonzalez vs. Miley
This 4-game series with the Mariners is a good chance for us to give some guys some rest and/or looks before the series. If we can go into the Oakland series with an 8 or 9 game lead (if not more), we should be in excellent shape for the division. It should already be expected that George will get an extra couple days off so I hope we get a look at Tucker.
Bregman has really come alive; now we just need to see Altuve and Brantley get hot again.

If you look at the most likely of title contenders this year, theur disparity between their home and away wins/loss records is pretty big

But getting/keeping guys healthy should be the biggest priority still, imo. We won't go anywhere if Springer and Pressly aren't at 100%. And Osuna, Brantley, and Chirinos need to get a little more rest down the stretch.

If you look at the most likely of title contenders this year, theur disparity between their home and away wins/loss records is pretty big With the lead we have over the A's for the division, finishing ahead of the Yankees for the best overall record should be a top priority. Having a better record than the Yankees and Dodgers would give us the home field all the way through the WS. We can rest guys occasionally without jeopardizing the chance....just don't rest half the offense at the same time. In this Seattle series, I'd like to see Tucker in the OF to see if he could be counted on in the post season..

The Yankees are probably winning tonight. It’ll be a 1.5 game lead for best record coming into the Mariners series.

Verlander has 257Ks with 4 more starts, do you think he reaches 300ks?

Verlander has 257Ks with 4 more starts, do you think he reaches 300ks? If they work it so that he gets 5 more starts, yes. Otherwise, no. Nor should they try to pitch him that much his last couple starts. He doesn't need to throw 100+ pitches the rest of these starts.

I like that lineup. I'd keep George out for awhile.

Let’s hope the home field chances don’t go away without George.

I’m hoping AJ can give Brantley a game or two off soon.

I’m hoping AJ can give Brantley a game or two off soon. I agree. When Straw arrives, it won't hurt for both Straw and Tucker to get some playing time.

Pure batting practice. The Stromfather better work his so-called magic.
