You know, for someone who complained so vociferously about the negativity on this forum, you sure have been freely throwing around labels today. I was just trying to fit in, but I can clearly see that I hit a nerve. My comment was intended to be light-hearted humor, but I can see that it wasn't received that way. Humbly begging your forgiveness. Asking for forgiveness on this board is like putting your blinker on in NYC. |

I wasn't necessarily trying to call you out...but, you just need to know that if you're as sensitive about rudeness as you've led me to believe, you probably ought to leave out the "whiners" and the type of questioning you did with the overrated Saint earlier. By casting those (harmless) aspersions, you make yourself a target of a return volley. I want all the posters we can get on this forum...just know that if you get smarmy or call people names, you're going to get hit back by most of the people here. You have posted the same crap at least 1000 times and were wrong each time and you are still wrong. Straw is fast but has not proven to be as good defensively as Jake. I know you don't agree, but, I'm OK with you being wrong. |

Whiners who actually believe that he blew it, stay after class to clean the erasers and wash the blackboard. I don’t believe anyone out there thinks Jake seriously had a chance at that ball. |

Jake is pretty fast and covers 29.2 feet per second in flat out sprints in the outfield. Straw is just short of the fastest guy in baseball and his speed is 31.7. He is faster than Trout, as fast as Buxton, and faster than any cornerback on the Houston Texans roster. Assuming he gets the same jump on the ball as Marisnick does, he catches that ball. Do I think he gets the same jump as Marisnick, that I do not have an opinion on. |
