The board obvioulsy goes a little quieter during the off season. but I enjoy what baseball there is. (Hot Stove, trading), and we can cover some pretty OT stuff off season tool

Still can't get over we may be facing elimination tomorrow. No one saw that coming. When you want it, you play like it. There’s something off about this team compared to the 2017 squad. Their ability to rally happens very seldomly. I was telling Tim earlier that they remind me a lot of the ‘98 team. They absolutely obliterate inferior opponents and look beside themselves when a good team attacks.

I’m getting tired of the pop ups and warning track fly balls. Bregman and Álvarez need to take their vicious cuts to Game 5.

I can't remember a two game period where the team seemed flailing at pitches out of the stirke zone this badly. It seems plate discipline just vanished after the 2 game lead. Maybe they were beleiving their own press.

Plus, with some of the bad luck yesterday, we missed out on applying any extra pressure or stress. I think a lot of people didn't realize just how good their pitching is, especially when we don't well at that stadium.

I think it's the FANS who believed the hype, not the players. It's like the fans expected the Astros to just roll over the other close-to-100-win teams in the playoffs.

I honestly believe they need to completely go outside the box tomorrow and try some bunts. Put in Straw instead of Reddick, have him and Altuve drops some bunts down. Maybe even some of the power guys if there are extreme shifts. Try to get the pitchers out of their comfort zone, and force their defense to play them differently. Not to mention that the best offensive game we had this series was when we stole bases.

And I agree with Todd. Time to get hardcore. Bunting has not been used in cases where it was needed and we paid for it. The 'clipboard" says don't bunt so Hinch doesn't bunt and we hit into DP"s.

I was saying September the offense is in trouble. Had people saying it all good don't worry. I have been on the offense all year when they would go into these three or four games sleeps.
