Solid return for Framber.

If they somehow manage to hold on and steal this game it would be a welcome surprise.

P.S. Straw can't steal bases.

I know it's the new thing these days, but sure a lot of cockiness with this team for a bunch of guys who haven't won anything in the postseason yet... (Outside of Hosmer.)

Terrible jump off first base for Straw. Umpire missed the call because Straw was not tagged...the ground was tagged. Apparently, we have no coach who can teach baserunners to read pitchers or get a good lead.. Pitiful game by Jose. He is just up there hacking. Maldonado botched the bunt attempt, when Straw was stealing. He botches anything that he needs to do with a bat.

Brutal game for Altuve at the plate. Now is not the time for him to go back into a funk...

Jose leaves the bases loaded in the 10th and is 0-6. If we lose the game, it will be because we failed to hit with RISP.

Need a K in this situation, let's go a Raley.

Raley can't get an out, two runs are in, and Bielak in the game.
I may be in the minority, but, I would have left Pressly in to pitch two innings as he only threw 8 pitches. This business of not allowing the closer or other relievers to go more than one inning is bullshit in my opinion. When you are playing at home and only need one run to walk it off, it makes sense to go with your best to keep the game tied. Again, Dusty pulls Pressly and the other guys cough it up. Dusty is an idiot when it comes to managing his pitchers.
After our mongoloid manager pulls Pressly, the Padres open it up and bat around in the 11th. It is now 10-3. I nominate Dusty for manager of the year.

Altuve has been god-awful today. He is the reason they lost.

Gas Can pen back in action. This is collectively the worst bullpen I’ve seen since Jerome Williams was the closer.

Altuve has been god-awful today. He is the reason they lost. I wouldn't go that far, but, he damn sure didn't do anything to help us win. The only ones who did anything with the bat were Tucker and McCormick. If we had had a couple of hits with RISP, this game would have never gone to extras. The pen coughed it up in extras, but, the game should have never gone to extras. Pulling Pressly after he only threw 8 pitches was pure bullshit.

I can’t blame Chas for missed opportunities because he drove in all their runs.

I think it’s time to come to terms with the fact that they might miss out on the postseason with this bullpen.

The last few seasons maybe with the exception of last season, you had a abundance of capable starting pitchers that filled the role of both.

I mean the offense for sure lost the game, but that bullpen is set up and ready to flush leads down the drain. Stanek and Abreu barely have command of their fastballs, Paredes has been a mess, Raley is a relic of the past (left handed specialist), Bielak is bench fodder, Taylor is average, Báez is never there, and there’s the only reliable Pressly. Overall, the team is carried by the offense, and that’s not a recipe for success.

You know.......we will......you know.......be in the same......you know......situation with ..........you know.....Odorizzi that we were with.......you know.......Framber tonight. Listening to this idiot makes me want to vomit

Also this would have been a win that would have built momentum from Wednesday.

Finally saw what is wrong with Castro......he has soreness in his left achilles. With him on the shelf, Maldonado can accumulate even more K's.
Dusty just told a reporter he really didn't want to answer a question because "I'm tired as hell".
