What can you do when you have so many options. Yeah i know we don’t have many options, but I am just sick of seeing him kill us with glove and bat. With Garza in the game now, it shows you how nice it is be in the Stros minor league system. Well bad start for Garza.

Ever get the feeling the team kind of gives up when the bullpen fails? The hitting is so uninspired.

It’s not all on Dusty, but he was handed the keys to a used Ferrari and has been filling it up with diesel. A sign of a great manager is having his team look the part of people who don’t give up. They’ve had three hits the past two games with RISP. They haven’t shown up at all against good teams outside their division. They are continuing the mess of last season. It’s time to make a move.

To expand on my point about Dusty, look back on 2015. All they did was win against teams they had no business competing against. If Dusty managed that team, would they make the postseason?

You think Tucker would have had the line drive in his pocket. Seeing a pen that cannot shut down the opposition will do it. He twice failed to walk it off. I get tired of him sometimes. I am no more tired of him than I am of the "MVP" hitting a pop up on the first pitch he saw when he had a chance to win the game. I get sick of hearing about certain guys being "unavailable" when needed. If Yordan was OK to take BP, he was OK to play. All we heard about Yuli was "inflammation" in a finger. Either these guys are just plain wimps or Dusty is babying them to death. Taylor Jones drops a damn popup that leads to a three run homer. Then, in one of the WORST moves of the game, Jones came up with runners on first and second with nobody out. Instead of having him try to bunt them up, the idiot manager lets him hit away and he grounds into a DP. Instead of runners on second and third with one out, we have two outs and the runner on third and fail to score. That was our chance to win. Our bullpen is pure shit.....nothing was done to strengthen it and we are paying the price. Odorizzi had a great game and has nothing to show for it because of our horse shit bullpen. NO way in hell should Garza have been sent in to pitch the 12th. Either keep the last reliever in or go to Abreu. You don't put that guy in that situation in his major league debut.

And, no matter what the stupid SOB does or how bad we play, we are stuck with him because Crane hasn't got the balls to fire the clown. He is a disgrace to this organization. Guys who are expected to drive in runs are not getting it done. They are paid the big bucks and look like shit. If Pressly was running on fumes in the 9th, he isn't in shape. He threw 8 pitches last night before Dusty blew that game by pulling him. Now, he expected a four out save today and didn't get it. There is no excuse for this team to look this bad. We need bullpen help and a manager.

If we had the runner on third and ONE out, we could have safety squeezed or anything to score the winning run. I am sick of watching Dusty Baker ruin this team.

Well, in an effort to balance out some of the negativity...
We're just 2.5 games out first, and both Framber and Odorizzi looked good. A missed grand slam by foot a yesterday, and a fluke dropped pop up today is all that kept us from winning three straight against two of the best teams in baseball.
Despite missing two of our best hitters, we've been winning these games. We're still in this.
There needs to be some improvements in the pen, and more consistency from the hitters... But I think they'll get there. It's a very streaky team.
Hopefully they put a hurting on Musgrove tomorrow.

Problem is the Astros have very little in the way of prospects to make a move. I think he is talking about a coaching move. Well it won’t take much to improve the coaching/managing. The team needs a new manager and third base coach imo. Which job do you want? I’ll take the one you don’t choose.

You can't balance this kind of crap.....they have earned all of the negativity and then some. I agree with the positives you mentioned, but, I see you left out a big negative from today's game. With the winning run on third and one out, Jose swung at the first pitch, which was out of the zone, and hit a weak fly to RF that was too shallow for the runner to score. He has been piling up terrible AB's. We had several guys put up bad AB's when a hit or fly ball would have scored a run. Tucker was terrible today. Taylor Jones should have stayed at Sugar Land. I am still unclear as to why Castro should have a sore achilles. How did he get that sitting in the dugout watching Maldonado strike out? How did Yuli get "inflammation" in a finger? Why is Yordan unavailable if he is able to take BP? Some of these guys need to suck it up and do their jobs. The pen is terrible because of not being able to throw strikes, but, Dusty's habit of pulling them after one inning no matter how they are pitching is ridiculous and is the main reason why he is a bad manager. I have seen that both Snell and Musgrove are scheduled tomorrow so who knows!!!

We look so bad because NONE of the relievers did the job today plus no Brantley, Yordan, or Yuli left big holes in the offense. The bright spot has been what we are getting from McCormick. When Brantley returns, McCormick has earned the right to playing time in CF.

He put up decent numbers in MILB, but nothing special..., but he didn’t quit. He kept plugging away and made it to the bigs. We have a kid at AAA..., Bryan De La Cruz..., who I’ve been monitoring over the last few years. He was signed as a 16 year old in 2013 out of the Dominican Republic. Like McCormick, his numbers in MILB have been nothing special. Like McCormick he has kept plugging away and has worked his way up to AAA where he is off to a really good start this season. I’m curious to see if he eventually makes his way to MLB.
