If game #4 is rained out and we have the makeup game on Friday in NY? I'm assuming you start Greinke still on Thursday for now game #4 but would there be any temptation to start Verlander for Game #5? Of course if that happened you'd still have Urquidy start game #6 at home (as there's no way you want Cole on short rest then have game #7 open)
I almost would like Verlander for game #5 in this scenario as he may be available for a game #7 out of the pen.
Imagine having Cole starting and Verlander/Greinke out of the pen for that game?

Agreed...........a very good move. Reddick in RF makes sense due to his numbers against Severino., I'm hoping with the short RF, Reddick can get in to one and help us out with a HR. |

I never understood why they needed to get him when they already had Judge. I'm glad they are stuck with that massive contract. But I will say, when he is hot....Watch out. I'd rather have Alvarez. When he's hot, he's scalding. And at the end of the year, we can at least think about retaining Cole. |
