Seeing everyone excited was great, but it was tough seeing him a little dejected. I feel bad for the guy.

I think he'll be a great player. But the only way he'll feel better about this post season is to have an exceptional WS.

I'm glad to see Yordon squaring the ball up again. When he does that, he reminds me of how Ted Williams beat the shift (yes-there were shifts back then too.) He would simply hit it harder through the shift rather than alter his swing to try to hit away from the shift which is the standard response to a shift. Every fan "knows" this, but the best hitter of all time didn't.

If he hits the way he has been, he makes the lineup dangerous again.

If he hits the way he has been, he makes the lineup dangerous again. He is already making the lineup dangerous.

Yordan's slashline for the ALCS: .045/ .125/ .045 A dismal .170 OPS
Yordan's slashline for the WS so far: .545/ .615/ .818 An awesome 1.434 OPS
'nuff said.

Yordan's slashline for the ALCS:.045/ .125/ .045 A dismal .170 OPS Yordan's slashline for the WS so far:.545/ .615/ .818 An awesome 1.434 OPS 'nuff said. The best part about having Alvarez hitting is the opposing pitcher having to work their pitches around him again (instead of feeling he's an automatic strikeout). That also made Bregman and Yuli press more at the plate thinking Alvy was off.
