Fish may have intreast in Reddick. But will not give up top prospects or mid level prospects Early thoughts could be a Reddick spot. Maybe Adam Conley straight up?? Straight-up and no money going to the Marlins? Could be an easy way to get most of Reddick's salary off the books. Conley is only due about $1.6M in arb. I like Conley.... His pitching arsenal is way better than his productions / stats. |

Astros to make a proposal to Gerrit Cole. They are the Mystery Team. Amd could be a very real taker on Cole. Cole also wouldnt mind it in Houston per source. Astros would have to clear alittle cash by moving a Reddick and or others. But some executives believe they are willing to go into the Luxury tax threshold There is a "rumor" that the Stros are "rumored" to be the "suprise team" that is making Cole an offer. It's on Mlbtr.com. It is no more than a rumor of a rumor. I read a rumor that a team in Japan offered him 20 years at 50 million per season. I'm sure the Astros will float an offer to Cole, if nothing else but a courtesy. But I doubt they'll stay in a bidding war. If Joel Sherman's estimate of 9/$324 as the final bid is correct, I don't see the Astros going there. |

Im just posting this because its wierd but there are reports that it is very well being discussed.
Carlos Correa, Josh Reddick and Josh James to the Reds for Luis Castello, Micheal Lorenzon and Tyler Barnhart.
But for some reason I just dont see this being a deal that the Reds would do
