I did, and I stand by it...If the Astros don't not lose a game in April, will you then be convinced? Undefeated this April will probably mean they're tied for last place. Or first place...? I bet our pitching staff will have the lowest ERA for the month of April.

I gotz the Modelovirus Speaking of Modelo, I was at Total Wines the other day, buying Modelo, vodka, wine, etc. I was checking out, and the black cashier looks at my Modelo; she says have you tried that Negra Modelo yet? And I start to laugh to myself inside, here's my opportunity to to be totally legit to say something not PC: I said haven't tried the Negra yet. She said without hesitation: once you try it, you won't go back. I just smiled, she out Thomas'd me.

I'm all for it. Might be a little cold towards the end of the season, but it's been a crazy year already. Why not throw in a little extra razzmatazz? There are worse Christmas gifts than another Astros pennant or championship.
Push back each subsequent season back a few weeks or so until we get back to normal.
(It'll never happen, obviously. Best case scenario is a shortened season with a few extra double headers.)

I like trade 3. I always have been a fan of Burger. Plus, Springer can resign with the Astros after the season.

Would it be better to trade him after the season officially starts, to eliminate any possible draft pick compensation. BTW I'm just hoping the Astros offer him an extension now, to decrease the chance of him playing elsewhere in the following season

He is the heart and soul of the team.

I like trade 3. I always have been a fan of Burger. Plus, Springer can resign with the Astros after the season. I would have to go with you on package 3. Who knows what the make up of the infield and pitching depth is going to be in 21. The White Sox are in a position the Stros were for the last few seasons, a back log of talent in the minors. Of course we are talking prospects. I have always been a Springer backer, but the with cheating scheme you don't know how much his value was harmed. Especially looking at this season how many games are going to be played, if he comes back slow out of the gate. He has those periods where his bat can't find the ball. One thing I question getting pitches to hit, was we have seen him on away games leading off with first pitch dingers. Maybe we can contribute that to George good guessing jumping on fast balls. No doubt if this season is played or not how much is it not only have a impact on what he is offered or other FA's.

No games on 42 day? May as well go ahead and cancel the season.

The "exhibition" concept of playing a season in Florida and Arizona just reeks.

I could see a scenario where they start the exhibitions in Florida and Arizona in the middle of May. Then play to empty stadiums for 25 games, 25 games with 25% stadiums, and 50 games with 50%. A total of 100 games for the season.
In America it ain't summer if you ain't watching baseball.

It would be pretty cool, if things continue to improve, if they could get the first games with fans on the 4th of July.
