No team is ever 'supposed to' win anything. You can stack the deck with players, management, analytics, etc, but at the end of the day the best built team doesn't always win. You might call it a 'failure' if that happens but you could be wrong. Sometimes winning or losing depends on luck and guessing right at critical moments.
We've seen the Astros look lost and inept at times. Other times, we've seen them make their opponents look that way.
You can over-analyze and speculate on what certain players should have done in certain situations but remember this: If a player takes the big swing and guesses right on the pitch he gets, you'll anoint him as a hero. If he guesses wrong, he'll be a goat. Same thing for pressing the point and going for the extra base or a close play at the plate.
Instead of wringing my hands, I'll just enjoy the fact that the Astros made it to the big dance and are here for game 7. After the first two games of this series, how many of you thought that was even possible?
Also, I take full responsibility for the Game 6 loss. I forgot to put on the lucky socks I was wearing for each game since Friday.
The good news is, they haven't been washed. They're creating a massive stench in my hamper and are ready for service tonight. Go Astros!

I just feel bad for Kayla Lauren. She was the third girl who flashed but barely made the news report
