If Beltran had been our Bench Coach or in something close to that we wouldn't have gone 9 for 80 in the Post Season. I know it a little overblown but it was close to that

I wish Beltrán was here and not Cintrón.

I credit Yuli for going to Beltrán when he needed help at the plate mid-season

Now that Beltrán is the Mets manager do you think we could get BVW to take Reddick off our hands if we send Beltran’s Puerto Rican buddy Karlos and Jake along with him? The Mets need a center fielder. Carlos and Carlos could run their Puerto Rican relief/aid efforts from NY and Daniella’s career would get a boost from being in the big apple.

I can hope this happens immediately after signing Rendon.

I don't know if there will be a big market for Carlos Correa....I wonder what value we would get for him in the OS? If too low, and if he produces/stays healthy through the 2020 season before the trade deadline, do the Astros trade him then? I just think he has to be traded at some point before his contract is up (in two years).

Like I said on another thread, ,there is no doubting Beltran's baseball savvy, but I am not sure this translates to being a MLB manager, especially one who has never managed at any level.
Back in the early '70's, the Rangers thought they pulled the ultimate coup by employing the legend Ted Williams in that role. Boy that ended up being a disaster.

I wonder if any of this drama with Hinch and Cora could be tied to Beltran?

Have you been sniffing gasoline? He makes it sound like Hatfields/McCoys between the two. He was obviously talking about the drama regarding the two of them being implicated in the Astros' cheating.

If the cheating started just after Beltran arrived, does his previous stints in NY with the Yankees and Mets have anything to do with the scandal? You know, the teams that are allowed to apologize rather than receive justice.
