I think he should be too. I almost wonder if it was his initial idea. Not that that makes it much better since enough of the other guys went with it... But if a veteran with his gravitas and resume proposed the idea, a lot of the younger guys would probably not hesitate to go along with it and not think it was too big of a deal. Beltran had been with plenty of other teams to know what all they were trying... And our core of young guys likely hadn't been exposed to as much. We'll never know. But you have to immediately question his integrity more so when he was has already outright lied about it once publicly. |

I very much want to not be disappointed with them and see if there is some adequate excuse, but so far nothing works. There are some potential factors that lessen it, but the disappointment is still there. Especially for some of the guys that I've admired for doing things the right way like Altuve, Springer, McCann, and previously Beltran. |

He's not being punished by MLB, but that doesn't mean the Mets won't fire him based on the negative press and shady character that he has now been proven to demonstrate. |

I sincerely doubt he will be punished. New York teams don't punish cheaters, they applaud it. |
