Not much gets done typically, but hopefully some wheeling and dealing happens. I can picture Marisnick being traded followed by Hinch resigning.

I’m gonna let you fellas make it. I just wanted to be sure that Hinch wasn't resigning or that voodoo didn't have a trade worked out for him.

Now if your post was in reference to the winter meetings, falling in line with the thread topic, do you think the Luhnow will be shunned in the meetings? Once the popular kid, now stuck talking to the GM that is usually by himself, the Orioles GM. The Orioles GM, a joke of a position, because the owner, Angelos, is completely unrealistic in trade deals. He has a case of VD.

We need to add pitching, but, I doubt we do anything at these meetings. If Luhnow ia shunned, he should laugh at not let it bother him. All of these guys who shun him in public will gladly talk to him privately if they think doing so could result in them improving their clubs.

They kind of thumbed their noses at convention and the status quo and probably rules up the purists. The cheating scandal was probably more fuel in the tank against him.

While we are waiting for something to happen at the winter meetings, where can I get the best TexMex food in Houston? My wife and I are at MDA today and tomorrow for regular scans, tests and appointments.

There I alternate between Carne' Asada, (Extra Jack), and Steak Fajita Quesidillas. I hear there are some inner-loop spots that are awesome too, but I am not that adventerous at my age.

As you know, I love Papasitos, too. However, f*** Papasitos. The last time my wife and I ate there (in Stafford/Sugar Land), it cost us $78 WITHOUT any alcoholic drinks. 2 enchilada plates, 2 cokes, 2 sopapillas, and a small queso dip for $80? Never again.

I agree. Our last bill (w/some family in tow) a few months ago was close to $170. Additonally Papsitos has also shrank the portions. The days of an extra meal or two via the doggy bag are gone. Still, it was delicious as always.

Thanks my friends. We got all the tests/scans out of the way today. She has appointments with the nutritionist, dermatologist and oncologist tomorrow. Will get the results of today’s tests/scans. If all is clear, it will mean she has been cancer free for 3 years.
She couldn’t eat anything today prior to getting all of tests done. It was after 2:00 PM by the time we got away from MDA. Thw wife was starving. We went to Papacitas on Richmond. We had a small bowl of queso, a large bowl of guacamole an order of chicken and shrimp fajitas for two. We drank water with lemon (which we always do). The service was outstanding. The portions were more than enough. The food was very good. Tipped the waiter 20% and got out of there for $61.
