Manfred and the idiots in the commissioner's office are doing their best to destroy the game. I hope the general populus rallies around MiLB and all their teams. Want to see interest in the game drop by half. Kill the public's interest of young talent as they rise through the ranks of the minors. Attendance at MiLb games is over 40,000,000 annually. Watch their interest level wane if that facet of their summer is ripped from them. Manfed is one stupid son of a bitch. |

About a month a go I saw a local sports station talk about MLB first eliminating 42 teams. At that time it was mostly in Class A Ball. I know it was going to wipe out the NY-Penn League, which is funny because MLB about two years ago sank about 2 million in to fix Bowman Field in Williamsport, for the MLB Little League Game. Minor leagues which is the corner stone to having a solid MLB is going the other way with this commissioner. Lately he is moving the amateur draft to Omaha, his "Field of Dreams Game". His new rules into the game, which the only one IMO is ridiculous is the extra 11 inning rule. But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know less teams, less of a chance to develop talent. |
