Yes it's very good. I hope they don't try to tie it in too much with other Star Wars movies. Just let it be its own thing.

Trek aficionado. Lost interest in the SW franchise after the 1st 3. Me too, and didn’t hold out much hope for this one after the last several shitty movies they’ve put out (ruined the franchise, IMO, after Return Of The Jedi). Luckily, this is made by someone with talent, and it’s a great series. The best I’ve seen since The Orville or Stranger Things.

Unfortunately, the same wankers who ruined SW are ruining Star Trek. f***ing Patrick Stewart just came out with some nonsense about how Star Trek:Picard is their response to “Trump and Brexit nonsense”. Picard is my favorite Trek character, but f*** him.
