Okay, so let me see if I have this right: 1. You're mad at Keuchel for apologizing for his role in the cheating the team did in parts of 2017 and 2018. 2. You said: " Apparently, none of the info helped him as he consistently got hammered early in games and cost us any chance of winning." So, in 2017 and 2018, here are his numbers: 26-16 3.39 ERA 350 IP So averaging 175 IP and a 13-8 record with a far above-average ERA was costing them a chance at winning? And apologizing for being a part of cheating is bad? You have an interesting way of looking at things.... And you always think over-rated players are outstanding. I never said he was outstanding. But that 3.39 ERA (or 122 ERA+) over 2017-2018 was approximately 22% better than average. I'll never complain about that production over 175 IP a season.

I hope not..........I am tired of seeing Bryant made out to be some great family man when he raped a woman and paid her off not to file charge. The media is in overkill over Bryant, My post was in jest.... Mine wasn't........what happened with Bryant and the others was tragic. But the media seems to be forgetting that Bryant and his daughter were not alone on the helicopter.

I did like this response from Woodfork in the 2011 interview:
“Everyone tries to lump people into different categories and I think now people are looking for balance. There’s an analytical portion to it, there’s a scouting portion to it and without that balance you’re not going to be successful.”
I do think the Astros have gone overboard with the analytics. I think Luhnow made a bad... and callous... move when he dismissed a significant number of scouts at the end of the 2017 season.

For as good as he was getting the numbers and stuff together, it's pretty apparent that the FO culture suffered from it. That balance has to be there.

The unrest in the front office was common knowlege and that was the fault of Luhnow. Firing those scouts was a bad decision. Relying too much on analytics when it comes to draft picks makes no sense.

I hope Dusty can get his ring! don't bet on it. He will have half of the pitching staff on the IL by the All Star break.

Analytics are fine and significant to winning baseball, but old fashioned scouting shouldn’t be thrown by the wayside.

I hope Dusty can get his ring! I just read that Dusty Baker is bi-lingual (english and spanish) and he is a former Marine. Both of those attributes will be helpful.

I hope Baker is allowed to move away from the ridiculous shifts and that he will take a more old-school approach to the batting order. Hopefully he will set Straw free on the base paths and rein in Altuve on the bases somewhat. I have seen enough of Jose getting thrown out trying to steal third with less than two outs to do me a lifetime.

I think hiring Baker might clinch Evans as GM. Do you think hiring if Dusty Baker was an emotional decision, brought on by the tragic death of Kobe Bryant? LMFAO, you racist.

Stealing 3B is hardly ever useful unless it is just a very weak catcher or slow pitcher.

I’m glad Crane hired a manager who can speak Spanish. As far as I can ascertain, Hinch could not. This whole cheating thing may have been prevented if he had just said, “ALTO!!” Cora probably just laughed at him and ignored him when he said, “NO! No hittee the can! You no stop hittee the can, I breakee the TV!!

LOL I agree with turning Straw loose and reining in Jose. I wish Straw could work out as our leadoff hitter with Springer moving down in the order. We have lots of people who either can't see that Jose is not very intelligent or they refuse to admit it.
