3-2
May vs. Javier
It's going to be pretty damn tough against May and with our bleeding pitching staff, but it would really be nice to come out of this with a split. Hopefully the top-3 don't go 0-Everything again and we can generate some runs.
I wouldn't mind seeing a pitching thrown behind Bellenger if the situation allows for it also.

I realize our pitching depth is weak right now. But, Dusty needs to stop yanking the starter at the first sign of trouble. He pulled Valdez too early.

Valdez isn't great, but I think he was a better option than bringing in a cold reliever in just his 2nd big league game against one of the best hitting teams in baseball.

I can see both sides because it was wrong to pull him for a rookie with the bases loaded, but Framber usually falls off a cliff after a couple good innings.

Yeah, it was a head scratcher There have been a few already. But that might be me being biased since I've never thought much of Baker. I'm sure he's defensive of his players, but I've never been impressed by his actual baseball decisions. We have 55 more games to see!

I’m sick of this nice guy shit. They’re walking on eggshells because they’re trying to stay looking remorseful and polite. As we’ve learned with the Crane forced apology fiasco, no one cares what you say or do. They’re going to label you the villains regardless. So, be the villains. Throw at Bellinger or Pederson. Talk some shit to them. Don’t just take aggressiveness and do nothing to show contrition. Go after them and stop trying to be nice.

Valdez was a better option than anything he had available in the pen. In both loses, Dusty showed why I really wanted someone else., He has always mismanaged his pitching. I realize Crane hired him to stabilize the situation after the scandal and he is a good man, old school, and is going to be a calming influence. I just don't like hwo he handles pitchers.

We should have retaliated when Kelly threw that pitch to Bregman. Then, he went after Corra. Piss on being nice.........nail their ass.

It’s done now. What if one of our guys gets hit in the helmet and gets concussed? Time for the Astros to show their balls.

We cannot allow more of what Kelly pulled with Bregman continue without our pitchers retaliating. If they don't, the situation could get worse in a hurry.

Too many hits allowed and not enough strikeouts, but I guess we'll see. He can't be any worse than Biagini...

Now that we know Straw is healthy, i really question why he has not been used before today. When Stubbs was used as a PR, why was Straw not used when he was clearly the better option. Why was Taylor Jones even called up and using him to DH was more than odd considering we had Straw, Toro, and Tucker all on the bench at the time.

While I don't disagree with George getting a day off, I am more than surprised to see it this soon. This is a definite departure from the Hinch style of handling him.
