McCullers vs. Andriese
Springer, Altuve, and Bregman have got to get going quickly. We completely blew splitting that series at worst and now find ourselves a .500 team. Which, with our pitching as it is, maybe that's all we are this year? Maybe we need to temper our expectations. But, I did expect better offense than this from some of our stars. I thought there would be some extra motivation. Hopefully they'll turn it around fast, because there is no "it's still early" this year.

With 8 teams making it in each league and Division Winners having to play the three game WC series, there's not really much incentive to win every game. And what advantage is there being home in front of an empty stadium?
This season is a farce. But I'll watch anyway as long as I don't see the communist manifesto (ie Manfred)being shoved in our faces.

Course, he is only a 4-hit game from being back in things. |
