13-10
Well I wouldn't say we look good or dominant, but 6 games in a row is 6 games in a row, and Colorado is a good team.
These pitchers are really starting to show up very strong (outside of Sneed and James). Let's see how Valdez does in COL.....
I'm predicting a 3-hit game for Jose.

Let's hope Valdez continues to pitch well and some bats wake up.

He can come in and dominate for a couple of innings when he is right and that bridges a gap between the starter and the 8th and 9th inning guys., And, with how our starters are going now, the pen won't be worn out. Maybe Peacock will be back soon and we can get rid of Sneed.

Dusty has been reported as saying that Yordan may be done for the season.... Even though nothing shows up on the MRI.

At this point, anything that requires shutting down for 6 weeks ends your season.

Jay Bruce is a pending FA...Mets, if they fall too far below.500 by the end of this month, might be willing to dump him for Not much in return.

Logan Morrison is available. They should take a good look at Morrison. He could be had for almost nothing.

This deal with Yordan sounds strange. I'd go for Morrison but a big NO to Puig. Our top prospects have been so depleted by past trades that we have nothing to offer in a trade for a bat. Not having our top two picks for two years can be a killer.......We are in a position to have to re-sign our free agents or other free agents if we hope to compete.

I'd go for Morrison but a big NO to Puig. All I'll say on Puig is that he may be better behaved now that he realizes he isn't worth as much as he thinks. He could be a pretty good buy low guy on a short term deal, and our OF could use the help next year....I haven't cared for Puigs antics in the past, but I don't think we can overlook the value he might bring. Even on a down year last year he was a better offensive player than Reddick has been in 2018-2019. It all depends on cost, but if we signed him to a reasonable deal for thsi year and next, it could be pretty beneficial for both sides. We get a veteran in the OF who has had a good deal of success, and he gets a chance to rebuild his FA value.

He is a decent OF with a good arm if I remember correctly. He also hits with power. I think we know why nobody has signed him and that throws up a red flag for me.......Proceed with extreme caution. On the plus side, he is a career .277 hitter with 132 home runs, an OPS of .823, OBP of . 348 and a SLG of .475., He has also stolen 79 bases. Could be worth signing because we need help.

Well if he really wants to make the big bucks (for a baseball player), he needs to show a year or two of good production and good behavior. It really works in his favor to be on his best behavior now.

With Yordan gone with surgery and Altuve continuing to suck,we may need Morrison and Puig both. Why is he putting Reddick in the cleanup spot? That is confusing.
Time to see if Click can earn his GM salary. He has to do something.
