Rockets are looking really strong right now....but I am hoping the Thunder fall to the 6th spot, so they have to face the Blazers...and the winner of that matchup has to face Golden State....that would increase the Rockets chance of making the Western Conference Finals really high.

I am not really a basketball fan but the Rockets sure do seem like they have it all together this year. They beat the crap out of someone the other night and I watched about half the second half and they just drilled them. It seemed effortless.

Rockets got their 60th win in the season...They are 60-14.....8 games remaining...If they go 6-2, then for the season, they will have won more than 80% of their games...Pretty damn good.

These guys are so much fun to watch. Signing CP3 was a very smart thing to do.

Six wins would be nice, but I think they need to dial it back, especially since the 1st seed is basically theirs. You don’t want to risk a player hurting Harden like Griffin tried to do the other day.

While I really miss the inside-out play of a center-dominated offense, I’m slowly coming around to this isolation basketball. I have to come to terms with centers being accessories to the PG/SG/SF guy that holds the ball constantly. I hope Harden, Paul, and D’Antoni get that elusive first title. Whatever the NBA is now, the Rockets are the unmatched superteam at the moment.

Good. I agree with Sherwin in dialing it back a bit.

Good. I agree with Sherwin in dialing it back a bit. Paul and Luc missed a couple of games. Now, it is Harden and Capela. Plenty of rest for everybody...

I think with either one more Rockets win or Warriors loss, then Rockets clinch the West.
To clinch the playoffs homecourt advantage, they either need a combo of either 2 wins or 2 Raptors losses.

Unfortunately, I still don't think they can take the Warriors in a series (provided Curry gets healthy).

I don't either, but I see it at least a 6 game series....

I’m both surprised and disappointed with you, Thomas and Todd. In what way? I am high on the Rockets, but if a healthy Warriors team, then all roads go through Golden State...To be the man, you got to beat the man.

I am hoping somehow the Thunder fall to the 6th seed or 7th seed...The tougher road it is for Golden State to face the Rockets in East, the better odds for the Rockets winning the West.
In the East, I think it is Toronto then Philly as the team's to beat.. Everyone thinks Lebron's Cavs first, but Toronto is loaded with top, veteran talent...while Philly is loaded with top, young talent.

With the Rockets clinching the 1 seed, they should really focus on rest/health. The Suns are in town tonight. Should be an easy win no matter who plays...

I’m both surprised and disappointed with you, Thomas and Todd. The Warriors are the Astros of the NBA. If healthy, they're just too strong in too many areas.

I agree...Harden, Paul and others should not being played major minutes...maybe 20-25 minutes....just to keep it going, stay fresh....If the Rockets win tonight, and the Raptors lose tomorrow in Boston, I believe the Rockets have secured home court advantage throughout the playoffs.

I still think the Warriors can win the title, if they are healthy... I think the Rockets should beat anybody in the East...

Last night's loss to the Spurs was not a bad thing. I am hoping Spurs can hold onto the 4th spot, and Timberwolves can get into the 5th spot....Therefore, the Thunder fall to the 6th or possibly the 7th spot...Would like to see GS road to WCF be as tough as possible.
