Blown layups, blown rebounds, and blown threes make me question D’Antoni’s boys. How bad do they want it?

No supporting cast tonight. Brutal. Nonexistent momentum. You never know which Rockets team will show up on a given night.

It’s hard for me to believe in them when they completely let Curry off the hook on defense and blow easy layups on the other end of the court. What part of D’Antoni’s playbook did they follow from Game 2? Even he described them as “soft” yesterday. It makes me question all their claims of wanting to beat Golden State so badly. Hearing that and losing by 41 are polar opposite things to me. This wasn’t some 10 or even 20-point loss to shrug off. Anyway, I hope they show up again, but I’m not expecting much.

Call it the universe or mainly call it The Will of the NBA, the Rockets need to win game 4, just like they had to in Game 2, so the series is worthwhile..

I just think for the series to be something, the Rockets need to win Game 4.....If the Rockets lose, then it is over...so it is a must win for so many reasons, and one of the chief ones is that is good for the NBA...

I agree Thomas. If they don't win G4, there very likely not be a G6, and a nearly nil chance of G7. Must win!!!

More the will of the universe and big business type of thing....how boring would it be for us all, even Warriors fan, if the Warriors win Game 4? Series over....All the hype of the Rockets vs Warriors series to be flushed....So it has to happen....

If I'm a GS fan I don't care about this series. The finals are what matters.
Same with the Astros, do we care if the Astros sweep their way to the WS or not? Heck, a sweep in the WS would be good too. That's true dynasty type stuff. Last year I just wanted a good series. Now that we won, I just want more winning.

Funny how successful franchises tend to alter expectations. I used to laugh at the Braves in the '90's when they couldn't even fill their stadium for a playoff game. While OTOH, we would have killed for a taste of the post season. I sure hope our fans don't get complacent, and take for granted what is now the greatest era in 55+ years of MLB history in Houston.

And to the folks who watch this game...... Why has defense been totally abandoned in favor of playground folly?

After years of thinking we wouldn't do it in the foreseeable future (and always frustrated we didn't better in 2005 or during Biggio/Bagwell primes), we have such a great chance to really go down in history as an amazing dynamic team this year and next if they can keep it going. I'll be fine if we don't win it all this year, but I would love to see us repeat whether it is exciting or not this time. Being competitive was the first step (we were), winning it was the ultimate (we did it). Now, if we're going to make it to the WS again, I don't care if it's competitive or exciting or not, I just want to see us repeat.

It's important and probably the victor goes on to win it all, but if I'm a GS fan with multiple championships recently, I don't care about a competitive western conference finals. I want to win another ring and show why my team continues to be the best. This is just another step they have to go through to get there.
