SO the Astros are 17-13. If they keep this pace up with 30 games to go how many more win will they have and what will it take to make the playoffs

No, my point is that George can't stay on the field. Even if he WAS better than Altuve, you have to be able to play to be so valuable. You criticize Trout for his missed time, but you completely ignore it with Springer. I'm calling out your inconsistency, not Springer. Trout always misses his time AFTER the Angels are eliminated which seems to occur each year with about a month of the season left. He takes the rest of the season off and people still vote for him for MVP which is a joke. You need to stay on the field and play for a winning team to be the MVP. After today's loss, the Angels are 9-22 with not much chance of making the playoffs so it's about vacation time for Trout. George has been on the field as much as Altuve has the last couple of years. The offense sputtered when George was out and the Astros increased their lead in the division when Altuve was out. George is the MVP of this team. I hope Jose stays on the field but he hasn't been able to stay injury free in 2018 or 2019. 🙄 |

And he STILL couldn't hit, even when he knew what was coming. I wish we knew if Jake took a dump in your Cheerios. Even after he is traded, you can't get off his ass. And you can't get off of his nuts. |

He hit better on the road when the Astros were accused of cheating... Ironically, many of the Astros hit better on the road in 2017.. I think they're only a few that hit better at home... The biggest benefactor in home cooking was Jake Marisnick. Where is the evidence that Marisnick was the biggest benefactor?  |

Look we traded away Marisnick, what more do other teams and their fans want from us? We lost Jake Marisnick dammit!!! We made a great deal in getting Blake Taylor for Marisnick. Now, if somebody would just want Toro and Mayfield. |

I never said Marisnick was anything other than a premier defensive outfielder. I also said we made a good deal in trading him for Taylor. The trade would look better if Straw would actually show he could hit better than Jake since Jake was the better defender. The Astros were convicted of cheating as a team........no individuals have been found guilty or innocent. My guess is if one cheated they all did at some point. I have said more than once that Altuve is dumb and he keeps proving me right. |
