I’m guessing Springer gets the day off for that knock on his elbow. The offense needs to keep it going. This and the next game are seven innings long so they need a quick start.

I like Springer but man I worry any time something out of the ordinary happens to him.

Sorry, I had to...I think it is silly to continually pick on a 3 time batting champ...

Sorry, I had to...I think it is silly to continually pick on a 3 time batting champ... There has to be a reasonable explanation as to why a three time batting champion suddenly becomes about the worst hitter in our lineup. I am not trying to "pick" on him. I know that lots of opposing players feel justified in their accusations that he cheated to win an MVP and the batting titles. I think they are legit but you have to wonder. I tend to think his problems at the plate are mental since he seemed to get it together on the road and looked lost last night when they returned home.

George would probably have more if he could stay healthy....

He hit better on the road when the Astros were accused of cheating... Ironically, many of the Astros hit better on the road in 2017.. I think they're only a few that hit better at home... The biggest benefactor in home cooking was Jake Marisnick.

We had a better won-loss record on the road.including post season.....when we were accused of cheating. That is why I never thought our championship was illegitimate. Jose's lack of intelligence gets him into these slumps. He was not trying to pull everything when he came out of the slump. He comes home starts trying to pull everything to the Crawford boxes, and is back to looking like crap.

It's harder when you don't know what pitch is coming.

It's harder when you don't know what pitch is coming. It’s harder to win when you have no pitching.

Hurricanes are going to happen more often and with increased intensity but there's no climate change. The last ice sheet in Canada has melted. It was bigger than Manhattan island, but Trump denies climate change.

I know Altuve didn't get a hit yesterday, but there is noticeable improvement with him not swinging at garbage.

Joe Maddon possibly finishing his potential HoF career with this garbage team really sucks.

So, you say George is at fault for getting hit on the elbow? i know you want to defend the team dumbass and hammer George, but, wake up. George has done more for this team this year than Jose. Both are valuable, but, George is MORE valuable plus his IQ is higher. B Blaming George for being out today due to being hit shows how desperate you are to bash him. I can't wait until Jose has to be out to see how you handle that.

Even if he WAS better than Altuve, you have to be able to play to be so valuable. You criticize Trout for his missed time, but you completely ignore it with Springer. I'm calling out your inconsistency, not Springer.

I'm calling out your inconsistency, not Springer. Trout always misses his time AFTER the Angels are eliminated which seems to occur each year with about a month of the season left. He takes the rest of the season off and people still vote for him for MVP which is a joke. You need to stay on the field and play for a winning team to be the MVP. After today's loss, the Angels are 9-22 with not much chance of making the playoffs so it's about vacation time for Trout. George has been on the field as much as Altuve has the last couple of years. The offense sputtered when George was out and the Astros increased their lead in the division when Altuve was out. George is the MVP of this team. I hope Jose stays on the field but he hasn't been able to stay injury free in 2018 or 2019.

Where is the evidence that Marisnick was the biggest benefactor? I posted before, he had the biggest home/road split advantage Yes, I think you did, but, that doesn't prove he knew what pitches were coming during home games. Right now, it looks like Altuve was a big beneficiary of the sign stealing but there is no proof of it.
