Another loss forthcoming. Even the Rangers can get a bases loaded single with 2 outs.

Astros and Brewers both reach the postseason at 29-31 apiece. These are the only losing playoff teams besides the Royals back in ‘81.

The Astros should wave a white flag and go home.....they will embarrass themselves in the post-season. They are playing like little whipped puppies with no pride.

I don't know if we'll win anything, but I bet we see a more motivated team in the playoffs. Ever since their 8-game winning streak when they basically established that they'd make the playoffs regardless, they've played with a "meh" attitude. I think mostly because it was kind of a "meh" season, and the regular season really had little appeal to them outside of getting into the playoffs.
They basically played to the level of their opponent most of the season, which shows in the "meh-ness". Unfortunately the level of their opponent was mostly pretty low so the results were low. Hopefully some more intense circumstances will bring back their motivation.

Maybe Lance can dominate, as he has been lately. I know Greinke will give it his all.

Maybe Lance can dominate, as he has been lately. I know Greinke will give it his all. In his last few starts, Greinke has not looked as good as Lance, Valdez, or Urquidy.......I hope that changes. |
