They both looked like amateurs. Did you see the halfassed throw to first base? This isn’t Dad throwing the ball to his son in the backyard. It’s the postseason. But he got the ball there in plenty of time. If Yuli had put forth any effort at all... If he isn't going to hit, he at least has to show effort defensively. Got the ball where? The ground?

I don't know, man. Throw could have been better, but the lack of effort of any kind by Yuli was brutal. .070 hitters have to do something else.

Poor Bregman. Good running by Altuve.

100mph groundout by Bregman. 98mph 400ft fly out for Tucker.
At some point, things have to go their way.

Great work by Lance, and Altuve finally made a good throw.

This is hopeless. Morton is begging them to score and they won’t.

This is insane. 105mph groundout for George. They need to hit it in the air. All I can say is they’ve done extensive homework on our hitters to explain their perfect defensive placement.

We get great pitching again, but, can't come up with big hits. The Rays take advantage of scoring chances and we don't. We hit into a lot of bad luck. Bregman hits the ball hard every at bat and went 0-5. Tucker got a hit but drove the ball to the centerfield wall twice and just missed home runs. We had a huge opportunity in the 9th and George hits into another DP. We lost last night because of the DP ball and it killed us again today.
Lance McCullers was outstanding......He gave up a three run homer when he should have been in the dugout. In spite of what Saint kept saying, the three run homer was there as the result of a sloppy, half-assed throw made to first base by Jose Altuve. The error was totally the fault of Altuve. I saw the play and replays. To blame Yuli and say he made little effort is nothing but making excuses for Altuve. We all saw the play. It Altuve's fault all the way. He made another error on another half-assed throw. Lance pitched around that The MVP for the Rays today wore an Astros shirt with #27 on the back of it. His name is Jose Altuve
