I am kind of surprised we aren't starting Valdez on short rest. Maybe we get 3-4 good innings from Garcia and then bring in Framber. Depends on the game situation. You are right about our offense needing to step up., They also treat the game as a bullpen day by starting Curtiss. The difference is the pressure is on us to win the game. If we win it, the pressure begins to shift. |

The problem is Dusty never gets the unused pitchers like Garcia any playing time, which to his credit was all messed up because of his offense not coming through. |

He had some kind of injury toward the end of the regular season but I don't remember exactly what type. We need to change how we pitch to Arozarena. He is killing us. |
