I thought the burger was good (but not as good as Whataburger), but the fries were garbage and the line was stupid long.

There's a local burger chain here called P. Terry's that's ten times more popular than the In-N-Outs in Austin
They're awesome and I hope they expand to Houston soon

I thought the burger was good (but not as good as Whataburger), but the fries were garbage and the line was stupid long. Frozen fries heated up in the oven taste way better. I felt like throwing the fries at their window, like the old discount tire commercial... their patties are so razor thin.. I had a single Patty.... I felt like one of the three old ladies in the Wendy's commercial, Where's the beef?I love onions, but with that paper thin meat patty, I felt like I was eating 2 toasted buns and onions with a hint of sauce... if, and I mean a big if, felt like giving that place a second shot.... It will at least be a double or probably trip patty burger with extra sauce and no onions... |

I agree with Todd. Decent burger but the fries are ass. I actually prefer Freddy’s.

Remember going there my elementary and junior high school years, and getting little cheeseburgers from there. about the best ever...greasy, little cheeseburgers.... |

My fave at WB was the A1 Thick and Hearty. Add jalapeños and switch out the American for cheddar. It’s wrong that they got rid of it.

The best thing they ever had was their 1990s-era chicken sandwich. It was a white meat chicken patty that was moist and savory, on a wheat bun with cheese and mayo. I dated a chick who worked there, and at a thousand of those things for free after the club when I'd go pick her up from work. The chicken sandwich they have now sucks worse than Jork Marisnick. |
