Are the worst team I have seen assembled in a long, long time. That is why the Rangers need to sign Carlos Correa to a 12 Year/$400M contract after this season.

Are the worst team I have seen assembled in a long, long time. They have that Falafel guy at third base. He’s pretty good.

Why would Rendon sign with them. They never improve their pitching so they stay where they are now......4th in the division. The Angels are also not getting much from the millions they invested in them like the Blue Jays are paying George to spend most of the season on the IL. I still think some of them sign with teams or agree to being traded to a team that has a chance to win. I don't think Verlander would have approved a trade to the Astros if he hadn't thought we could win. I don't think Brantley would have re-signed with us if he didn't think that way. I don't what Toronto offered him, but, lucky for us he came back. If a player is only after the big money, he would sign with a team like the Rangers. He won't if he wants to win championships.

I think people need to realize that baseball players sometimes make shockingly bad baseball-related decisions. I feel like players who really look up the organizational depth etc. of potential signing destinations are still few and far between.
Springer -> Toronto was an exception IMO though. Toronto is really talented. I don't think anyone knows why they've been so mediocre. Their run differential is a great +117. They should be in 2nd place in that division right now.

Blue Jays or the White Sox are teams I don't want the Astros to face in the playoffs. Rather face the Yankees, Red Sox, A's or Rays.
