ESPN with an article about us? And it’s positive? Is this real life?

Hey, if we're not going to have spend money on top draft picks this year, we might as well do something else with the money towards the farm system.

This is great for the players because they don't have worry about finding places to live. Good move.

Until the Yankees are held accountable for all the crap they've done that has been covered up for years, as far as I'm concerned, neither the Astros or any other team should be called "cheaters".

Hey, if we're not going to have spend money on top draft picks this year, we might as well do something else with the money towards the farm system. But are they cheaters??? You're only a cheater if some jaded p*ssy leaks to the press about your cheating...until that point, you're not a cheater.... The real question is to ask Luhnow or Hinch is: Are you surprised Fiers ratted you out? If you would have let him pitch in the 2017 post season, do you think he would still have? If you would offered him an extension, would he still have? Why did you not contact one of the Clintons, to ask for advice what to do with Fiers?

We have jokingly established, only the Marlins, Orioles, Pirates and Tigers should not be accused of cheating. Every other team is a cheater. They are just a Mike Fiers away from being exposed.

The only reason Fiers opened his mouth was because Hinch yanked him from the rotation and left him off the post-season roster. Then, they failed to offer him a new contract. He squealed to get back at the Astros for getting rid of him. The A's were desperate for pitching so they signed him. I never heard that he refused to accept a share of the playoff money, if he was entitled to any. I'm not sure exactly how they go about that since he had no role in the p post season except to contribute by being out of the way.

Despite that cheating might be rampant in MLB, it only counts if you get caught. And then everyone (other teams, fans, media) can turn on the Astros to deflect from their own... They're the only cheater in baseball....

My problem was with the penalties they handed out...loss of top two draft picks for two years, fine, and we end up losing a GM and manager. If the Yankees were proven to have done the same, we have to wonder what penalties would they have gotten. My guess is not nearly as severe as ours.

In case anyone was slow on the uptake, I was just joking about the cheating bit.

I know I've posted this many times before, but one of my favorite times going to games years ago was watching Billy Wagner Run out from the bullpen. The Astrodome would go nuts
How great would this team be right now if they had something like Lidge, Dotel and Wagner finishing games....
