And get Altuve and Correa to do something at home. Why is Altuve hitting like it’s 2014? Trying too hard after being an MVP? He's still on pace for a 6.8 WAR but it would be nice to see more production at home. More steals and power too.

Altuve looks like crap at home and I won't go into what I think Correa's problem is at home

If Jeff thought that White and Davis would solve the offensive woes of this team that they would have already have been brought up. A bat or two is not going to solve the problem when the team goes into one of these offensive funks.

What is Correa's problem? My guess he is "working too hard" at home I see. Wouldn't Verlander be "working really hard" at home too?

My guess he is "working too hard" at home I see. Wouldn't Verlander be "working really hard" at home too? More than likely. But, Verlander is old enough to know when to limit his activities. I am mainly being sarcastic, but, I find it strange that Carlos hammers the ball on the road and doesn't do as well at home. Maybe he is just more noticeable than others. Altuve isn't doing much at home, either. Main problem is 3-4 guys don't do much at home or on the road

My guess he is "working too hard" at home I see. Wouldn't Verlander be "working really hard" at home too? The thing is Verlander is older and wiser than Correa. He has learned...as Dewey did in 1948...Hairy Truman is very resilient. A man can, and will, wear himself out trying to overwhelm and defeat Hairy Truman. Correa will learn this soon enough.

He’s just not locked in at the plate at all. He whiffs badly on sliders, and there was that time when Chapman just threw three straight fastballs by him to end the game. It’s just not like him to look so amateur on offense.

On the bright side, they probably can’t do any worse today.

The only way they do worse is if Fister no-hits them

Nobody's approaching their plate appearance with the pitch in mind that they're looking to hit. They're just trying to guess which pitch in the sequence will have break on it. I don't know if these are bad habits from a couple years ago or what, but it's so unlike last year

Here we go! Heres to a quality start from Morton and an abundance of runs from the offense.

Morton puts em down 1,2,3. Now it's time for the offense to put up some runs for him. Let's get some early runs!
