My point is that Sherwin is never satisfied. What he wants changes when he gets it. Sherwin is satisfied when all the position players hit oppo on the spray chart, and all the pitchers hit 95 on the radar gun
and the infield doesn't look stupid on the defensive shift
More accurate although I did get excited seeing Greinke throw 93 on the gun. |

I prefer station-to-station baseball, preferably with runners going first to third and second to home. Of course, I like home runs. I just don’t like home run hacks with two strikes. I also like steals, sacrifice fly balls, squeeze plays, and advancing runners with outs. I also like when guys like Altuve and Bregman get hits to right field. I’m not a fan of a batter basically having four infielders on one side of second base, and the batter still manages to hit it to them. Well, I believe in the soul. The ****, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days. Hate to hear about Turnbull. That's awful. Yeah, it sucks but TJ is generally successful. He'll lose a year but I think he'll be okay in the long run. The injury but hit the Tigers in other ways. Jake Rogers is now in the DL with forearm soreness. Fingers crossed, a couple of weeks of rest will be all that's needed. |
